Allendale Town - 1903
The former toll cottage for the Allendale to Sinderhope turnpike road, Wentworth. Prior to the turnpike’s construction, the only road to Allenheads wound up Lonkley, along the top, before coming down to Sinderhope at Garrett’s hill.
