The footbridge below Peck Riding.  This bridge features on many Edwardian postcards and the walk from Allendale Town to Peckriding to view the crags above the river was obviously a popular one.

High Peckriding and the ruins of the Peckriding Mill (dating from the 1500s) behind. Sadly, most of the roofing slates and wall stone of this historic mill were dismantled and removed in the 1980s.
