The Weardale Museum and St Thomas’s Church are hosting an exhibition and a series of talks on family history in Weardale. The Festival will be opened by Mike Amos at 11.00 a.m. on Saturday 1st July, at St Thomas’s Church, Market Square.
Talk topics will include Getting Started in Family History, Emigration from Weardale and Research your local War Memorial. Experts in researching family history will be available to help with your queries from 11.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m. each day.
